Common Problems & Technical Solutions
- VFD & Inverter Faults (Overload / Overvoltage)
- Cause: Voltage fluctuation, high torque startup, or motor overheating.
- Solution: Check parameter settings, test phase outputs, clean cooling fans, and inspect input power line stability.
- Extruder & Injection Heating Issues
- Cause: Damaged band heaters, faulty thermocouples, or SSR (Solid State Relay) failure.
- Solution: Measure resistance across heaters, calibrate PID temperature controllers, and inspect wiring connections.
- Hydraulic Pressure Drops
- Cause: Oil leaks, worn hydraulic pump seals, or clogged suction filters.
- Solution: Clean or replace hydraulic oil filters, check system pressure with a pressure gauge, and verify valve operation.
- Motor Overheating & Vibration
- Cause: Mechanical misalignment, bearing wear, or unbalanced loads.
- Solution: Re-align motor shafts, lubricate bearings according to spec, and test current draw on all three phases.
